An apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with job-related instruction from experienced workers who teach you the skills of their craft. Apprentices learn job skills, gain experience, and ultimately earn a credential.

WA Grant isn’t only for traditional college students. WA Grant for Apprenticeship includes funding for qualified apprentices in a variety of programs in Washington.
Eligible apprentices can receive money to cover costs associated with their apprenticeship program.

Military Pathways An overview of the different pathways related to joining the military.
Joining the military can be an exciting and life-changing experience. There are a lot of reasons young men and women across the United States show an interest in the Armed Forces. Some have a multigenerational respect for the military and want to serve like their older relatives did. Others want job security and the benefits that come along with being in the military. Whatever the reason, joining the military can create a great foundation for future personal growth.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. It is administered twice a year at Cedarcrest, fall and late winter.
