College and Running Start Information Night

Reminder... Wednesday February 22, 2023

College Information Night for Juniors

6:00 – 6:45 PM

College Information Night will be hosted by the Cedarcrest counselors and College and Career Center in the theatre. We will begin with a presentation addressing the college application process followed by a Q&A session. College information will be geared toward 11th grade students, but all are welcome. For more information on 4-year and 2-year college admissions, financial aid, scholarships and college applications tips, families are encouraged to view the informational videos on the CHS Counseling Webpage

Running Start Information Night

7:00 – 7:30PM

The Cedarcrest counselors will hold an informational session for parents and students interested in Running Start. This session will help inform current sophomores and juniors about the requirements and expectations of being in the Running Start program. Each community college has also provided detailed information specific to their school’s Running Start program for parents and students on their websites. Those links are provided on the CHS Counseling Webpage. Click on the Running Start link on the CHS Counseling Webpage for essential information that students and parents need to be aware of when considering participating in a Running Start program.
