CHS students and families……
Well, don’t stop sleeping in just yet, but the new school year is coming soon! We return to school on Tuesday, September 6th.
Parking Permits will be on sale in the CHS main office on the following dates:
Monday, August 29th for SENIORS only – 6:30am – 3:00pm
Tuesday, August 30th for SENIORS & JUNIORS only – 6:30am – 3:00pm
Wednesday, August 31st for All grades– 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Thursday, September 1st for All grades – 6:30am – 3:00pm
Friday, September 2nd for All grades – 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Students applying for a parking permit MUST already have their driver's license. Students will need the parking permit application completed along with a copy of their driver's license and proof of insurance.
Students in the Senior and Junior classes will be able to pick up their NEW LAPTOP during Parking Permit Sales. They will need to turn in their old laptop in order to receive the new laptop.
FRESHMEN ORIENTATION (9/2)
We are excited to see our new class of Freshmen, for that matter, we are excited to see all of you! But for Freshies, we are planning our Freshmen Orientation which will occur on Friday September 2nd from 8AM to Noon. During orientation students will tour CHS, participate in activities organized by the "PACK and be treated to a gourmet lunch of hot dogs and chips. Freshmen will also be able to pick up their new laptop from IT, with the return of their old laptop.
COUNSELING OFFICE (8/22)
Our Counseling Center will re-open on Monday August 22nd. If you need to contact your counselor, you will have to call for an appointment.
FALL CLASS SCHEDULES (8/29)
Scheduling is not quite completed and you should be able to access your schedule for next year on Skyward on Monday August 29th. If you viewed your schedule on TEAMS or Skooler please know that these schedules may not have been complete and/or may change.
FALL SPORTS PARENT NIGHT (8/24)
Wednesday August 24th 6PM at the CHS Stadium.
PICTURE DAY (9/9 & 9/12)
Pictures will be taken during the day and scheduled through students’ English classes.
CURRICULUM NIGHT (9/14)
Our open house/curriculum night is scheduled for Wednesday September 14th at 6PM. This is a great time to meet your students’ teachers and hear their expectations for class. This is not a time to conference with a teacher, see that below under Parent Teacher Conferences.
SENIORS INFORMATION NIGHT (9/28)
Find out what to expect during your senior year on Wednesday September 28th from 6PM to 7:30PM. College applications and Senior Activities, are a couple of the topics which will be discussed. This information night will be in person.
HOMECOMING (10/1)
This year homecoming with be on Saturday October 1st at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue from 8PM to 11PM. This dance is open to all students at CHS!
FINANCIAL AIDE NIGHT (10/6)
Financial aide night is on Thursday October 6th from 6PM to 7:30PM. This evening is dedicated to providing information for our students who are planning to attend college at any level (community college, tech school, four-year university). Students will be introduced to the many options for school and training after high school, the application process, and information about completing your FAFSA form.
PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES (10/26)
PT conferences are scheduled in the gym for Wednesday October 26th from 4PM to 7PM and will be arena style.
